I received a family heirloom quilt when my grandma passed. The maker is unknown. I loved it immediately, so fun and such amazing fabrics. However, it was deteriorating in some places.
I spent a long time slow stitching and quilting it by hand. The entire quilt was originally hand pieced and hand quilted. I tried to match her quilting pattern, though I could never replicate her stitch size! It was an honor to stitch in her footsteps, whoever she was.
