The Treehouse Quilt

Started in January 2020 and finished in February. The Treehouse Quilt. Chambray and quilting cotton top, seersucker back, chambray binding. Quilted sparsely and also tied with cotton yarn. Named for my second work home, the treehouse apartment. I had never done a tie quilt before! I used an old floral layer cake that I’ve always loved and mixed it with chambray, using large hst’s. I wanted to keep it light and chose the seersucker to go along with the shabby chic vibe also. I miss this little apartment!
